Pinot Noir
Wine
Yering Station Pinot Noir is sourced from estate grown MV6 clone Yarra Valley vines first planted in the 1990s. The select parcels of fruit are harvested by hand.
The grapes cold soak for five days then are whole berry fermented in an open fermenter. Cultured Lalvin BGY yeasts are used. The wine matures for 11 months in new and seasoned French oak.
Deep crimson, Yering Station Pinot Noir has pure fruit style, with tightly knit tannins and a delicate but focused acid backbone. Cellaring potential is six years.
